Hi, I would like to purchase this GIMX USB device. But first let me describe the purpose I need it for. I want to use a Fanatec Clubsport Wheel Base V 2.5 with my PlayStation 4. Games I want to play are GT Sport, Driveclub, F1 2016, Assetto Corsa and Project Cars.
So would this so called GIMX a possible solution here?
Maby thanks!
Cheers,
Thorsten
Hi, I have a question.
I want to purchase your GIMX-Adapter and use your software to emulate a G27 Steering Wheel from Logitech and its additional components (Shift, Pedals) for my PC. It is important that all of these components are supported.
Is the code : EMUG27PC the right one for the software? Do I have to add it to my order?
My PC runs Windows 7 and i want to use the emulated wheel for Project Cars.
Is it compatible to Project Cars?
Yes, EMUG27PC is intended to be used with a PC as target. When ordering you can indicate this firmware in the “Order Notes†text area at the “Checkout†step. It should work with any game, and any input device that is correctly detected by Windows.
Hey Matlo,
I tested your Adapter today, but I am not sure how it works.
I plugged it into my PC and the USB-Device detected is called “Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge”. Should it not be called G27, or am I wrong?
I want to use it to emulate the G27 with my BeagleBone Black as an Input device.
Is there something else to be done? Because I ordered it with the correct software.
The adapter has two side, one is a USB to UART adapter, and the other will appear as a G27 in the device manager as soon as GIMX gets started. You may run GIMX on the same computer as the game. On the BeagleBone Black almost all wheels that do not support direct translation will not work. https://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Force_Feedback#Direct_translation

Hi,
It should work. But compatibility is not 100% guaranteed.
